There?s not a lot of rain in the immediate forecast for South America, and the rain they are getting is in less optimal areas. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said the cold temperatures could finish off some of the crops in northern Argentina and southern Brazil, but, overall, it?s not a terrible report.
McBride also provided a crop progress update for Brazil and Argentina.
There?s not a lot of new news this week, but that doesn’t mean there aren?t things we should be watching. China is still planning to import corn from Brazil, and there may be some exports from Ukraine after all. McBride provided some advice for Iowa producers.
