Much like what we’ve seen today, there’s quite a bit of rain in Brazil and Argentina currently. However, producers in Argentina are now worried about getting too much rain, which can cause delays. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest weather conditions.
McBride said that the primary concerns in Argentina are over a delayed harvest, not potential damage to the crops.
Speaking of that harvest in Argentina, McBride said they are behind, but they are still mostly in the early stages.
On the other hand, McBride said harvest in Brazil is still continuing nicely.
