It may seem like a broken record at this point, but not too much has happened crop-wise in South America. Brazil still looks great, and Argentina is still struggling. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride provided a breakdown on the latest weather conditions in South America.
McBride said that, although Brazil is slightly behind on soybean harvest and safrinha corn planting, their crop still looks fantastic.
In last week?s WASDE report, the USDA made cuts to crop projections in Argentina. McBride said they?ll likely continue to make slight cuts on future reports as well.
McBride also provided some marketing advice for Iowa producers.
