by | Oct 10, 2023 | 5 Ag Stories, News

Continued drought is raising concerns in parts of South America. While it is allowing for easy planting progress, the lack of moisture won’t be beneficial to those crops. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest weather patterns.

With the drier conditions, McBride said the farmers are planting slowly in order to avoid early drought stress.

Outside of planting, McBride said it’s important to keep an eye on the export situation in Brazil as well.

McBride also provided some other key factors for farmers to look out for in South America.
