As input prices vary, producers are looking for ways to reduce and optimize their nutrient applications. However, when prices are low, that doesn’t mean that farmers should start over-applying synthetic fertilizers. Nick Becker, director of field sales with Sound Agriculture, talked about some of the negative effects that can come from over-application.
Becker said that SOURCE can help producers reduce waste and, in turn, see a better return on investment.
Becker said SOURCE acts as a caffeine for the microbes that already exist in the soil.
Becker added that Sound Agriculture also helps farmers offset the inherent risk of reducing fertilizer applications by offering cash back guarantees.
