Bob Ruth, vice president of the National Pork Board says the importance of telling the story of the pork industry is taking a front seat.
Ruth says the Real Pork Trust and Image Consortium is a five-year, multi-million-dollar project that started with a request for proposal earlier this year.
The Pork Scholars program is a big part of the future of shaping Real Pork, offering communications training to graduate and veterinary students, says Ruth.
