At this point of the growing season in Iowa, the crops look outstanding and early reports from the field are calling for bin busting yields. However, there are still concerns about the threats to crops that can rob yield on the way to the finish line.

He adds that disease pressure is ramping up and one of the newer threats to crops in northern Iowa is becoming more widespread.

Bartels says that Proven Farm Research from Beck’s is helping soybean growers in Iowa to continue to push for higher yields.
