When you hear about the New Year, you hear about all the different resolutions that everyone is making and aiming to accomplish.
However, I have a new challenge for you. What if you took a look at this year and identified something you wanted to see God accomplish in 2017.
What is it that you want to see God do this year?
What do you long for God to do?
Is there a ministry you want him to prosper?
Is there marriage stresses you want God to relieve?
Is there finances that you want God to intervene on?
Is there a person you want to see come to know Him?
What do you want to see God do?
I am currently reading the Circle Maker for the second time (I would highly recommend it), and in the book it has one of my favorite quotes says ?Bold prayers honor God, and God honors bold prayers. God isn?t offended by your biggest dreams or boldest prayers. He is offended by anything less. If your prayers aren?t impossible to you, they are insulting to God.”
God is a big God and He wants you to desire to see Him work, and fulfill, and redeem, but you have to want Him to, you have to ask Him to.
So what is that bold thing that you want Him to do this year?
Prayer: “God, thank you for being the God of 2016 and 2017. Thank you for what you did in my life last year. I want to see you work in way I have never seen you work before in 2017. In your name I pray, Amen.”
