The Farm Progress Show is in Boone Iowa this year and takes place this week September 1st-3rd. The show has always been a premier spot to see the latest agricultural technology in action, but it has added a new permanent display to showcase the newest crop inputs and technology.
Matt Jungmann is the director of events for Farm Progress and he says the new Agronomy Zone features research-grade plots designed to help farmers make informed decisions.
Jungmann says a lot of work has gone into the Agronomy Zone this growing season to prepare for the Farm Progress Show crowds.
As drone technology continues to become more popular on farms, farmers and drone operators are always striving to become better drone operators. Jungmann says that drone technology will feature heavily on the show grounds.
