The Agribusiness Association of Iowa held its annual Agribusiness Showcase & Conference last week in Altoona. The event brings together professionals in agriculture to discuss the latest trends and technologies. The showcase also features educational sessions and panel discussions to help industry professionals continue to stay informed on key topics in agriculture.
One of the panel discussions that took place at the showcase was a discussion about resistant weed management strategies. Liam Vincent of BASF was one of the experts that participated in the panel. He tells the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network that growers need to be just as resilient as resistant weeds.
Vincent says small weeds are easier to control.
He says residuals are also a big piece of the puzzle when it comes to controlling resistant weeds.
