At Iowa FFA Convention, students get to interact directly with Iowa’s ag industry. Iowa Corn had its educational trailer outside of Hilton Coliseum for students to check out throughout convention. Mike Finarty, Iowa Corn Growers Promotion and Education Spokesperson, said students were able to see how their FFA experiences can lead into their future careers.
Finarty said the corn education trailer shows people just how many products corn is used for.
Finarty added that it’s important to foster strong agricultural knowledge in these future ag leaders.
