Recently, Indigo Ag announced the issuance of its fourth carbon crop, which totaled at nearly 1 megaton of carbon sequestration. This makes them the only company to complete four carbon harvests and pay participating farmers. Lauren Lindner, account director with Indigo Ag, said they are very excited to hit that milestone.
Lindner said the way they process their carbon credits allows them to be purchased by big names like Microsoft.
Lindner said the carbon programs at Indigo are flexible and aim to meet growers where they are at.
