Farm Bureau Park is one of the top locations at the Iowa State Fair, and that’s especially true during Farm Bureau Day, which took place on August 12th. It’s a great opportunity to visit with producers and connect them with consumers for a great educational opportunity. Iowa Farm Bureau President Brent Johnson said this year’s event was another huge success.
Farm Bureau Day is also the day for the annual Iowa Farm Bureau Cookout Contest. Johnson said you can follow your nose to find the contest on Grand Avenue.
Iowa Farm Bureau members who are attending the fair can also stop by the park for some free prizes as thanks for their membership.
