Mary Kay Thatcher, senior manager of federal government and industry relations with Syngenta, says that there will be a lot for farmers and ag industry workers to keep track of.
Traditionally, rural districts lean heavily Republican. With politics more polarized than ever, those mostly rural districts continue to move further to the GOP.
Thatcher says that although there are already just a few democrats from ?pure rural? districts, they are very important in changing farm policy.
