Hinson says inflation was still a primary concern during her eighth 20-county tour

Elections are coming up very soon, so it?s important to think about what issues we?re all facing as Iowans. There?s one big issue that affects all of us, though, and that?s higher living costs. Iowa 1st District Congresswoman Ashley Hinson recently completed her eighth 20-county tour, during which she visited a variety of businesses and operations, and she?s still hearing a lot of concerns about inflation.

Biofuels are one option that can help alleviate some of the stresses families are experiencing when it comes to living costs. However, the current administration doesn?t seem to keen on supporting that side of the fuel industry. Hinson said it should be a goal to adopt an ?all of the above? strategy and truly lower fuel prices.

Biofuels aren?t a partisan issue, either- after all, the Biofuels Caucus is a bipartisan group. Hinson said that no matter how the elections turn out, she hopes they?ll be able to find some common ground and make some progress in incorporating biofuels into their strategies.

Not only would biofuels lower fuel prices for consumers, but they would also lower transportation costs- which would be especially helpful since all goods rely on some form of transportation. Hinson said she thinks lowering energy prices will be the quickest way to bring down inflation prices.
