As every farmer knows, scouting a corn field from the end rows can tell a much different story from what is happening in the middle of your field. Farmers Business Network is attempting to help farmers with their scouting by providing field level yield data to Iowa’s growers.
Charles Baron is the co-founder of FBN and he details the field scouting tools available for growers from FBN.
Baron says FBN membership is free and field level yield data and predictions are available to all FBN members.
FBN’s AI platform for ag is called “Norm” and it helps farmers with answering questions and providing agronomic advice says Baron.
Baron adds that Norm can be a very useful tool at this point of the growing season.
He says the next step for Norm is the ability to help growers with marketing grain.
