The Iowa Pork Producers Association has named Dean Frazer as the new President of the organization at its annual meeting which was held January 20th in Des Moines. Frazer takes over as the new leader of the IPPA from outgoing President Aaron Juergens.
Frazer operates a farrow-to-finish operation in addition to growing corn, soybeans, and seed corn in Conrad Iowa. He says that he never envisioned that he would one day lead IPPA but is thrilled with the opportunity.
Frazer tells the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network how he would like to lead the IPPA.
He says that hog producers in Iowa are on solid footing to begin 2026 and he is optimistic for the future of hog production in the state.
Frazer has been involved with the Grundy County Pork Producers since 1987 and previously served as president-elect, vice president of market development, and District 3 director on the IPPA Board.
