Colfax Sheep Auction: January 31, 2015

COLFAX, Iowa – The final January run of sheep and goats in Colfax Saturday saw a fairly light run. 191 head of sheep and 45 head of goats sold, with feeder lambs averaging $2.38 per pound. Fed lambs brought in $1.36 per pound on average, and prices on goats ranged from $107.50 to $167.50 per head.
