Today, Hy-Vee and the Caitlin Clark Foundation presented a donation of $300,802.85 to Feeding America at the Food Bank of Iowa. The donation, which is the result of a round-up campaign held across all Hy-Vee stores this past March, will provide three million meals to food insecure families. Blake Clark, who is Caitlin’s older brother and represented the foundation for the donation, said this donation fits in well with their mission.
Since they are still a smaller foundation, Clark said they appreciate the support that Hy-Vee gave them throughout the round-up campaign.
The primary mission of the foundation is to help children be the best version of themselves through education, nutrition, and sports. Clark said they are happy to participate in the fight against food insecurity.
