It?s a busy week for the Iowa Soybean Association.
Leaders and members are gathering in Des Moines this week for several events including the January ISA Board of Directors Meeting, the 2022 ISA Winter Soy Summit and Legislative Reception.
Ottumwa farmer Pat Swanson is the Iowa Soybean Association?s District 9 Director. She tells IARN that ISA will network and socialize with fellow producers, industry professionals and key decision makers. They will also engage policymakers to advocate on behalf of the agriculture and soybean industry.
Swanson says ISA will also continue its effort to build a foundational understanding of the legislative and regulatory process, and develop and strengthen personal leadership skills.
