The Agribusiness Association of Iowa (AAI) Foundation recently announced that its building will be named “The Northey Building” in order to honor the late Bill Northey. Mark White, board chair of the AAI Foundation, said it was an easy decision to honor Northey’s legacy in this way.
With its location and its function as a gathering place for agribusinesses, “The Northey Building” is a suitable tribute to one of the greatest leaders in the history of Iowa agriculture.
Additionally, a “Northey Memorial Fund” has been established at the AAI Foundation. White said that the funds raised will go towards finishing the fundraising effort for the building itself.
