United States Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) says that he is hopeful that Congress can pass legislation for year-round E15 sales nationwide in 2025. Grassley adds that if his bill for year-round E15 sales passes, it is likely to happen at the end of the calendar this year. He says that the latest USDA forecast of a massive corn crop has escalated the need for legislation.
Grassley says that in the past, both parties have had Presidents pass waivers for summer E15 sales.
Grassley says uncertainty in the renewable fuels industry has created many issues for E15 sales.
