Expectations were low for the March WASDE report, and those expectations were met almost squarely on the nose. This is typical for the March WASDE report, as the markets are already looking ahead to the reports at the end of the month. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said most of this month’s numbers were largely unchanged from the February WASDE report.
The biggest changes in this month’s report happened in the ending stocks.
Now, the markets are looking ahead to the Quarterly Grain Stocks and Prospective Planting reports, which will come out at the end of this month.
