History of the station:
AM 1530 started in April 1956.
FM 107.1 started in 1969. Don Uker and Walt Morrison were primary owners. Wayne Specht, owned it for a short period of time before KDSN was bought in 1993.

KDSN broadcasts live – non stop during severe weather with live announcers
They provide rotating play by play of area high school girls and boys basketball tournaments – up to 4 different locations each night.
KDSN has an annual “Farm 40 Free” contest whereas one producer will win all the inputs to farm 40 acres of corn absolutely free, and one producer will win all the inputs to farm 40 acres of soybeans absolutely free.
The station has raised over $75,000 during four radio-a-thons for Tornado disaster victims as well as a program called “Moving Veterans Forward.”
