One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, ?Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” -Luke 23:39-40
During the crucifixion of Jesus, two people were hanging beside Him.
Two lives. Two Men. Two completely different paths.
One Jesus. One Savior. One way to heaven.
One criminal chose to reject Jesus. The other, chose to see Him for who He was….the innocent Savior.
Just like the two thieves who were given a choice, we are given the same choice.
We get the chance to acknowledge Jesus as our savior, or do nothing with Him.
We get to choose what we want to do with Jesus. We get to join Him or mock his existence.
Jesus gave both criminals the same choice, but each chose something different.
One spent an eternity with Him in heaven, and the other spent an eternity in separation….hell.
What will you choose? What are you going to do with the knowledge of Jesus Christ?
Prayer: Jesus, thank you for giving everyone the gift of choice. Help me to always choose you. I want my life to be a living proclamation of who you are. In your name I pray, Amen.”
