Gene editing is a topic that is gaining attention. Joe Hrdlicka of the Iowa Biotechnology Association (Iowa Bio) says it needs to be addressed at this year?s ?Animal Health in the Heartland? symposium.
There will be a special guest at the upcoming symposium; USDA Undersecretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs, and former Nebraska Ag Secretary, Greg Ibach.
Hrdlicka says this symposium presents a unique opportunity to bring multiple players to the table.
