KLGA AM (1600) went on the air in 1956, joined by KLGA FM (92.7) in 1970. A translator (98.5) was added in 2014 and the KLGA AM call letters were changed to KLGZ.
Owned by Riverfront Broadcasting of Iowa since January 2015. The principal owners are Carolyn & Doyle Becker of Yankton, SD. We support our community ? which is all of Kossuth County and a little beyond ? with local news and information.
We give non profits free advertising. We have been a part of some of the communities? biggest fund raisers for charities. We air programs weekly from 3 high schools, the local hospital, and YMCA. We were one of 50 national finalists for the prestigious National
