Last month, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released its final rule setting biofuel blending levels under the Renewable Fuel Standard. This step backwards ignores the clear benefits of Iowa biofuels and upheaves the significant progress made by the biofuels industry. Iowa Congresswoman Ashley Hinson said she?ll continue to advocate for the use of an all-of-the-above energy strategy.
As the Representative for Iowa?s Second Congressional District, Hinson also knows how prepared Iowa farmers are to ramp up ethanol production.
The Biden administration has been strongly pushing a rushed switch to an all-electric vehicle fleet. However, Hinson said that?s not a change that you can magically make overnight, especially since our infrastructure is not even remotely ready for it.
