Bean exports are continuing to raise some concerns, while corn exports saw another strong week. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride provided a breakdown of the latest numbers from this week?s U.S. Export Sales Report.
No flash sales today, but they?ve still been interesting this week as Mexico has returned as a buyer. McBride said that, despite their upcoming GMO corn ban, Mexico still needs corn in the meantime.
McBride said corn is still plenty shy of the USDA?s expectations, but it?s seeing consistent improvement. On the other hand, soybeans are seeing the opposite situation.
McBride also provided some marketing advice for Iowa producers.
