For the fourth straight week crop quality ratings on corn and soybeans fell. Crops already contending with a lack of rainfall. Fortunately some small percentage of the crop is now safe from frost. From the Iowa report:
Some rain fell in the western part of the state, but most areas continued to be dry. Hot temperatures pushed crops to mature, but crop conditions are showing stress from the heat and lack of precipitation.
