When it comes to chemicals that are used in crop protection, it is no secret that every so often that go through a reevaluation to make sure their impact on the environment isn?t a major issue. It?s something which we have come to expect over the course of a product?s life cycle.

The Enlist? E3 platform just went through its latest reevaluation by the EPA and has a few changes that producers need to be aware of when using the products in their fields. Many times, these announcements seem very intense in their terminology. Farmers just want the simple answer to the question, ?How does this affect me??

Scott Jungman is with Corteva and works inside the state of Iowa. He talks first about the label changes that are coming with the new seven-year registration. He says that the changes made are of minimal impact to Iowa?s producers. It also comes with some clarity.

Jungman summarizes those changes by saying that some aren?t going to be as big of an issue for Iowa producers, but it is in Corteva?s best interest to keep on top of any environmental issues before they become a problem. He adds that by and large, farmers are trying to be the best stewards they can be.

When it comes to those using the Enlist? E3 platform for the first time, Jungman says it still offers the flexibility of using the system over other platforms. Enlist? still offers that ?neighbor-friendly? application that you are looking for.

Jungman talks about the Enlist? products that are available from Corteva.

Jungman says that if you have any questions, reach out to your local Corteva representative, or visit Enlist.com.
