KKIA-FM received licensing in September of 1981 in Ida Grove. The station moved its studio to Storm Lake in the late 1990s. The station?s current owners, Neil and Terri Lipetzky, purchased KKIA-FM and KAYL in 2010 under Community First Broadcasting.
Community Involvement: Listeners are taking KKIA wherever they go with their mobile devices. The station strives to offer a lot of local content and tries to keep everyone updated on what?s happening on the radio dial, as well as online.
