Export sales were good again this week, but it’s still too little, too late for old crop numbers. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest report from the USDA.
On the new crop side of things, McBride said they would like to see higher numbers, but they won’t complain about what they got.
We’ve been hearing plenty of reports about how great this crop is looking, so McBride said the USDA may raise the corn and soybean yields in the August WASDE report on Monday.
McBride added that he expects this to be a bearish report for the grain markets- potentially the most bearish of this year.
