U.S. Export Sales Report (3-6-25)

by | Mar 6, 2025 | 5 Ag Stories, News

Despite the tariff news weighing in on the ag marketplace, the export sales this week came withing expectations, which is better than what we have been seeing recently. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said it was a great week for corn.

While the soybean numbers are below the average, they are still acceptable for this time of year.

President Trump’s tariffs- and the retaliatory tariffs we face as a result- are weighing heavily on the grain markets. However, McBride said the most recent pause on the implementation of Trump’s tariffs is a little different than last time.

As this situation develops, McBride said there will continue to be a lot of market volatility.
