U.S. Export Sales Report (2-23-24)

by | Feb 23, 2024 | 5 Ag Stories, News

This week was not a good one for the grain markets, and that could be seen in this week’s export sales as well. Corn is still looking fine, but soybeans posted the lowest numbers for this week in over thirty years. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an analysis of the latest U.S. Export Sales Report.

Looking at exports as a whole for the marketing year, McBride said corn is now in danger of seeing some cuts in the next WASDE report.

Additionally, the recent announcement of year-round E15 will be greatly appreciated in the corn markets, but McBride said it’s too early to tell what effect it will have on the exports.
