The new marketing year has been slowly improving, and that continues with this week’s export sales. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said the corn sales in particular caused a bit of a stir in the grain markets.
McBride said the persistent soybean flash sales have continued as well.
The export sales have been looking so good, in fact, that they are among the best we’ve seen in the past decade.
The December WASDE report usually doesn’t bring anything to the table, and McBride said he expects that to be the case again this year.
