96.7 FM went on the air in 1995 as ‘KLBA – Farm Country.’ It was purchased in 2007 by Chariton native, Joe Milledge, and its call letters were changed to KIIC. In 2011, Milledge built a new 450′ tower just west of Albia to improve coverage into Ottumwa and Oskaloosa.
Community Involvement: KIIC connects with the community through several unique events, including: KIIC’s BaconTown, KIIC’s Farm Show, KIIC’s Food Truck Frenzy, KIIC’s Wing Ding Fling Thing and KIIC’s ‘Light the Night’ Easter Egg Hunt in the Park After Dark.
