The clock is ticking on an E15 waiver

It is that time of year, once again. Soon, thanks to the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, E15 will run into its deadline, and may not be sold during the summertime. Of course, I remind everyone that this is thanks to the D.C. Court because we had year-round E15 approved in 2019, but they struck down the ability to allow purchasers to have nothing more than another choice.

The clock is ticking, but another waiver may be possible.

I am in Washington this week, and I had the chance to catch up with Emily Skor of Growth Energy. We talked about the chances of getting year-round E15. Skor says that legislatively, we just don?t have the time. However, a waiver could still happen. Maybe even as early as later this week.

Not having a more economical solution available at a time when finances are getting tighter is a real burden on our citizens.

Skor also says that we are seeing those oil prices already elevate at the pump because of OPEC cutting production.
