BASF Agricultural Solutions and The SCN Coalition are partnering together to recognize October as SCN Action Month for the fourth straight year. The partnership brings farmers the latest tools, research, and resources in order to effectively manage soybean cyst nematodes (SCN). Troy Bauer, senior seed treatment technology representative with BASF, said SCN is one of the most devastating crop pests.

Bauer said there are a couple of things farmers can do to detect the presence of SCN.
There are also a few ways to prevent SCN from grabbing a major hold of a soybean field in the first place.
