Benson Hill has completed more feeding trials using their Ultra-High Protein, Low Oligosaccharide (UHP-LO) soybean meal, showcasing the impact of the meal on broiler chicken performance. Aaron Robinson, vice president of product development at Benson Hill, said their second major feeding trial highlighted their top-of-the-line genetics.
Robinson said the UHP-LO soybean meal helps broilers develop more muscle, and the meal is also easy to digest.
Benson Hill also recently completed a feeding trial with Tyson Foods, which further confirmed the benefits of UHP-LP soybean meal.
Robinson said they now have a strong portfolio of UHP-LO soybean varieties that producers can grow on their own farms.
