After an extended period of dry weather, there’s now plenty of rain in South America. In fact, it has rained so much that they are now worried about having too much rain. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest conditions in Brazil and Argentina.
While there are no major losses to the crops as of right now, McBride said the weather over the next couple of weeks could cause issues.
Even with the rain, though, McBride said harvest and planting progress in Brazil is continuing to move along.
