Brazil has some good rains still, and Argentina is still dry. However, some nice rains are projected to pass through both countries. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the latest weather conditions in South America.
McBride said harvest and planting progress in Brazil is still decently ahead of the averages.
Additionally, there was news of a barge that got stuck in a waterway in Argentina. While this wasn’t a Suez Canal situation, McBride said this does still raise concerns about moisture levels.
