Iowa Republican U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley says that there could be some roadblocks in the current congress to his bill which is designed to increase transparency In cattle pricing.
Senator Grassley was also asked if last week?s Chinese balloon incident has increased interest in legislation regarding foreign ownership of land.
Grassley says he is not very hopeful that there will be much talk about agriculture when President Biden addresses Congress with his state of the union speech Tuesday night.
Senator Grassley was also asked if he will try and make any changes to the payment limit language in the 2023 edition of the farm bill.
