U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa (R-IA) says that he has been an advocate for farm subsidy payment limits in the past while working on the farm bill and will try and garner support for the issue again in 2023.
Senator Grassley was asked during his weekly conference call with ag reporters about his Cattle Price Discovery and Transparency Act and if it can succeed as a standalone bill.
Senator Grassley was also asked if the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank will cause any change in thinking regarding increased spending or raising interest rates.
