Farming is not an easy task. Farmers not only need to be well versed in agronomy and animal production, but they also need to be mechanics, problem solvers, and marketers as well.
Anytime in agribusiness that a company can innovate and save farmers time, growers and producers are generally receptive to at least learning about potential time savers.
Farmpoint from CLAAS is a new dealership experience that centers around experts and technicians going to the farmer to help instead of the farmer stopping work to go to the dealership.
That is Patricio Frangella with CLAAS.
He says that Farmpoint can deliver the same end result as a traditional dealership but by bringing the dealership to the farmer.
Frangella says that Farmpoint allows CLAAS technicians to have what they need on hand to eliminate trips to and from the dealership which saves time.
He says CLAAS technology allows technicians to be in constant contact with customers and work proactively to fix problems.
The CLAAS Farmpoint system has previously been implemented in Europe and South America but now CLAAS has brought the Farmpoint model to areas of Kentucky and Indiana with hopes for more expansion into the Midwest.
