The grain markets were positioned for an impactful Quarterly Grain Stocks report, but what we got today was simply a neutral and slightly positive report. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride said the corn numbers were friendly to the marketplace.
McBride said the soybean numbers were less remarkable, but they were still neutral.
At this point, McBride said the markets will soon be shifting their focus to the weather in South America, which looks like it might have some rain.
