The National FFA Organization elected its new leadership team for the next year during the recent national convention. Delegates elected Thaddeus Bergscheider of Franklin, Illinois, as the new President. Bergscheider (pictured left in the above photo) said he has deep roots in agriculture.
Growing up on a farm and being around agriculture has made him passionate about farm policy.
Bergscheider said he initially wasn’t sure about joining the FFA, but one contest changed his mind.
