Bryce Anderson, DTN chief meteorologist, has seen a lot in his career, but has not seen the destruction he is witnessing in Nebraska and Iowa.
Anderson says more rain is coming to the area, south of Interstate 80 and expects as much as three million acres of prevented planting of corn. He is less pessimistic about major flooding along the upper Mississippi River.
