Harley Janssen is vice president of product and operations at AGI and says that AGI digital offers a suite of digital tools that allow you to closely monitor your grain bins. However, the number one focus remains on safety.
Janssen says sensors in the bin provide a reading of what is happening inside the bin and relay the information to the user.
After receiving the information about what is occurring inside the grain bin, the user then has the ability to make management decisions regarding the condition of the grain.
In 2023 there are a wide range of digital devices that allow users to monitor everything from doorbell cameras to the thermostat in their home. Janssen says that AGI’s bin monitoring tool BinManager operates in a very similar manner.
