Landus Advantage keeps farmer freight trucks rolling

Landus recently announced the acquisition of DSM Advantage, which also marks the launch of a new freight brokering division, Landus Advantage. Farmer-owners rely on Landus to consistently provide them with opportunities to keep their trucks moving. Andy Unruh, director of logistics at Landus, said Landus Advantage will provide quality freight year-round, ensuring operations remain profitable by keeping trucks on the move.

Unruh said there’s plenty of down time for the freight trucks that farmers own, as there are only a few times every year that they are in peak usage. This used to be seen as a “necessary evil” of grain production, but now Landus Advantage provides an opportunity to get more value by making sure those trucks are still being put to work.

Unruh said they are preparing to hit the ground running once there is down time again for those freight trucks.

Unruh added that this is another avenue that Landus is using to give back to its farmer-owners.

More information on Landus Advantage will be out soon at landus.ag.
